Gosh! Another year older.. yeah, it was my birthday on the 29th – told myself that i need to fill up my web… seriously!
I’m 37 now (yikes), happily married for 7 years to a man God blessed me with whom I can truly say..my bestfriend! He fulfilled my birthday wish: serenity. He took me to South Lake Tahoe, stayed in a hotel room right at the beachfront. We went to the beach-lake to savor the sun with our feet tucked in the sands. He took me to the marina and rode a bona-fide gondola from Venice named Theresa. Our gondolier was really nice as he waited for the sunset just for us – the stillness, the sounds of the lake water lapping, birds chirping, then the sunset — truly, truly captivating! I haven’t had these moments for so long. We ended my birthday with a dinner back home. Then picked up our furbaby, Tucker. Just what I needed – I’m truly blessed!!
